Jehovah Magnified & Other Addresses by Muller, George
For many years, these brief notes of various occasional sermons and addresses were thought to have been the only ones preserevd in book form by Mr. Muller. Though he was a prolific conference speaker, this first volume of his pulpit discourses were not published by himself, but taken down as they were spoken by a Bristol publisher. Muller did give a bit of a grudging nod to their publication, but noted that he hoped to later offer to the press two volumes edited by himself as more representative. The project never materialised. So, while the circumstances were not ideal in the sense of leaving us a complete or polished view of Muller's sermons, these short, practical addresses at least demonstrate Muller's general approach to the pulpit as being intensely practical and searching.
