In this interesting little book, Mr. Lash gives brief sketches of several native Hindoo school mistresses, who have been trained in the Normal School of the church Missionary Society at Tinnevelly, and are now teaching girls' schools in various parts of India. The prejudice against female education is rapidly breaking down and India will yet be reached through its mothers.
