Light & Truth: Bible Thoughts & Themes on the Revelation. This volume of Bonar's series will be of particular interest to many. Horatius Bonar was early under the influence of Edward Irving during his apocalyptic preaching tours in Edinburgh and rural Scotland during the late 1820's. Bonar later authored an influencial work on the premillennial return of Christ and was editor of the most important premillennial periodical of the time, The Quarterly Journal of Prophecy. Even where the read may disagree with Bonar's views, he is always so sure to make Christ the King of his content, he is still rewarding and rich.
