After the Year of Blessing. Stories of the Welsh Revival by Lewis, Howell Elvet

Originally published in The Quiver for 1905, this is a very fine first-hand account of some fruits of the revival. Anecdotal in nature, it shows the importance even early on of protecting, or defending, the movement against the suggestion that the converts were shortlived and the fruit rotten while yet on the vine. Lewis would later published one of the most significant primary works on the movement, With Christ Among the Miners.
