The Revival of Miraculous Powers in the Church by Noel, Baptist Wriothesley

Published in 1831 as a response to The Christian Dispensation Miraculous by Thomas Boys, this is a very able work with strong points on many fronts, not least of which is the candor and humility with which his opponent is generally treated. For a detailed analysis of Noel's cessationist apologetic, both strengths and weaknesses, you may want to reference, when available, my article on the correspondence between Boys and Noel which will be forthcoming.
